Permits DH: The following was taken from an entry by Erika Buchholz in Teams: If a customer calls in with questions regarding a water heater permit, please send me (ebuchholz@dauenhauerplumbing.com) an email and let the customer know I will reach out to them as soon as I can. Please remember I only pull permits for Dauenhauer, not all companies. Helpful Tips 1. If the customer is needing to know what their water heater permit number is, you can look in the files on the work order. I attached all permits to the work order after they are pulled. I also have started putting the permit # in the notes, the permit number will start with "PL-.." If you do not see a permit attached to the WO, please send me an email and I will look into it. 2. Once the permit is pulled, the inspector will try to reach out to the customer to schedule a time to come out. If they are not able to reach the customer, it is then the customer's responsibility to call the inspection office to schedule. 3. The number for the inspection office (502)573-0397, you can give this to the customer if they need to schedule their inspection. 4. Dauenhauer Lou and Lex install Bradford White water heaters. These heaters come with a 1 year warranty on labor and a 6 year manufacturer warranty.
Inspections Customers inquiring about their water heater inspection do not go through us. We send the permit info over to the state, and it is up to the state at that point to contact them to have it inspected. Send an email  to  (ebuchholz@dauenhauerplumbing.com) to check that the permit was pulled and sent over to the state. At that point that is all you can do for the customer.
Tankless systems Greenwell: The wiring portion of the work will need to be performed by an electrician
"Is it normal if my W/H Makes noise?" Yes
Water Heater was flooded: If the pilot light went out because of flooding in the area, we cannot relight it. the W/H will have to be replaced and unfortunately not covered under warranty.
If customer wants us to unhook W/H for a reason then hook it back up, can we do it?  Yes
