Dispatch board / tech ETA
If a customer calls in regarding a tech ETA, instead of emailing dispatch, you can simply take a look at the dispatch board to get a general idea.
1.) SELECT ‘DISPATCH’ FROM THE TOP MENU BAR
2.) FIND THE TECHNICIAN THAT THE JOB IS ASSIGNED TO. (Hint: Use Control and the ‘F’ key to pull up a search bar) In this example I am checking an ETA assigned to David Mcintyre.
3.) THE BLUE BAR REPRESENTS THE TECHNICIANS PROGRESS.
4.) RICHARD HOUSTON IS CALLING TO GET AN ETA. USE THE FOLLOWING KEY TO DETERMINE WHERE THE TECHNICIAN IS.
Green > Working
Magenta > Dispatched
Grey > Completed
Yellow > Done for now, needs follow up
Blue > Scheduled
